Today the ASX200 index closed down 22 points to 4899.40 after opening higher at 4921.4 and trading up to a high of 4938.10 and a low of 4898.9.
In terms of trading the index, the countertrend rally has not exhausted as yet but there is no indication of it moving substantially higher from this point if at all.
We are still waiting for confirmation.
